Returns & Warranty

We do not accept refunds for a change of mind. If you are not satisfied with your product for any reason, please contact us to discuss potential exchange, replacement, or repair options before a refund is considered.

Our warranty is only valid within Australia.

Deposits and Custom Orders

All deposits on custom-built computers are non-refundable. Refunds on other products may be given at the discretion of Cataclysm Computers.

Product Replacement

We may consider replacing a system with a different one if the replacement is of higher value than the original. This request must be made within 5 days of receiving your system. Acceptance of such replacements is at the discretion of Cataclysm Computers staff.

Warranty and Repairs

Components replaced under warranty may be refurbished or equivalent in cases where warranty repair is given after the initial 30 days. We cannot guarantee replacement with new or identical components. No temporary replacements are provided during warranty repairs. Customers are informed of the repair timeline based on supplier/manufacturer responses. We do not cover international shipping, and our warranty is only available within Australia.

If there are any unpaid invoices on your account, warranty repairs will not be carried out.

Non-Returnable Items

Crypto mining hardware or software, and products with cosmetic blemishes reported after 48 hours of receipt, are non-returnable. Cataclysm Computers may, at its discretion, address cosmetic issues.

Refunds and Exchanges

If a return is approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within a specified timeline. Exchanges are considered for defective or damaged items only. Sale items cannot be refunded. Gift returns will receive a credit or refund based on the purchase conditions.

Shipping Costs

Customers bear the return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. For warranty repairs, conditions apply regarding packaging and responsibility for shipping damages or costs without original packaging.

If your item is covered by a warranty which includes courier fees, we will organise for a courier transport the PC to us. Couriers cannot be booked for a pickup from a residential address. Courier pickups must be made from a commercial business address, or the item must be dropped off to the courier depot once booked. If you do not have your original packaging, we are not obligated to cover shipping fees for your repair. Damage during transit for warranty repair items is not covered and we advise to correctly package any returning items to avoid damage.

Additional Terms

Shipping time for exchanged products may vary based on location. For items over $75, a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance is recommended.
